Fun fact: Our African “Chai” Spice Coffee was the first coffee we ever sold! It’s inspired by a traditional Kenyan coffee drink known as “Kahawa Chungu.” The East African coast lies on the Indian Ocean and was the center of the ancient spice trade. Traveling spice traders stopped in Kenya to relax and enjoy coffee mixed with spices.
We use real spices, freshly ground and sourced directly from farmers by our friends at Burlap & Barrel. Just add warm milk to create a comforting, familiar cold-weather drink. Or, blend with ice and chilled milk for a delicious frappe!
